Peradon Newbury Snooker CueThe Peradon Newbury Snooker Cue – At Snooker Crazy, we have decided to stock this superb 58 inch, ¾ jointed snooker cue crafted by Peradon in England.
Cue shafts are chosen individually by Peradon to ensure only the highest grade maple is used. The maple for the Newbury Cue is cut using patented technology in order to release the tension in the timbers before being laminated with walnut inlays. This delicate process has been adopted for the Peradon Newbury Snooker Cue so that customers can enjoy a cue shaft with minimal deflection. At Peradon, we ensure that all our cues receive the same care and attention to high quality as a minimum. Peradon construction techniques adopted for this cue design ensures that the ‘Proline shaft’ is more resistant to warping than conventional shafts, a concern by all cueists.
The Peradon Newbury ‘Pro-line shaft’ is thoroughly checked by our cue makers for strength and straightness prior to splicing. The finest, genuine Ebony butt timber is added to the maple shaft by hand. The Newbury cue is then shaped to produce that distinctive four round point pattern recognised with a hand spliced cue.
In producing a great cue shaft the natural wood stresses must be released which is a key focus in the design and production of this superb cue. The timbers are then shaped over a period of time until the final tapered shape is achieved. To achieve that super glide effect, the cue shaft will undergo numerous sanding and finishing processes prior to completion and badging.
