Removing snooker cue ferrule scratches and cleaning


Cleaning your brass cue ferrule is a fairly straight forward job. There are a few ways you can clean it, 0000 grit steel wool, micromesh paper, 3000 grit paper, brasso, duraglit etc etc.

The main thing is to ensure you don’t damage the shaft or get any of the cleaning agent on the tip!.

I have picked a few dirty and older ferrules to give some examples of how to quickly do it. Obviously there are many methods out there but these may at least give you a steer whilst you are searching for your preferred method,
