Magic Chalk – Light Green

After numerous requests from our pool playing followers we have decide to stock some of the Magic Chalk that has recently received so much press. Although it has been around for a number of years the debate with new chalks on the market has again fuelled customers interest.

We will stock the light green cubes of the Magic Chalk to start with as this covers most of the email requests. If we get a lot more requests for ‘Blue’ we will take another look into it.

Why choose Magic Chalk?

• The chalk is rated number one by independent testing (Dr Dave Alciator – Billiards author, instructor and college professor).
• Not as many miscues as other well known makes in the independent testing
• The chalk stays on the tip better than any other brand
• You can shoot of centre strikes whilst drawing the cue ball consistently.
• No need to chalk after each shot, can arguably chalk after each rack!
• Does not make an unsightly mess of the cue ball, table, hands or your cue shaft.

We are told that Taom Chalk was not included in the original test (not sure how old the video is) but it was directly with Master Chalk so you can get a good idea from the two sets of figures:

Hard Layered Tip / Maple Shaft

Master Chalk – 7 then 6 (Average 6.5)
Taom Chalk – 5 then 6 (Average 5.5)
Taom Chalk / Version 2 – 5 then another (Average 5.0)

Softer Non Layered Tip (on Revo)

Master Chalk – 4 then another 4 (Average 4.0)
Taom Chalk /Version 2 – 4 then another 4 (Average 4.0)
