Three Quarter Leopard Wood Snooker Cue – Snooker Crazy Thai Cue Range
The ash shaft is carefully selected for strength and straightness before considering the type of exotic wood to add. On this particular cue the butt is completely made from Leopard wood with an additional 4 splices of Leopard wood fingers planed and fitted to the top section of the cue. A solid brass vacuum joint is used to furnish the cue with that great look between the two sections of exotic wood..
The joint is fitted approximately 15″ from the end of the ebony butt.
Once the final tapering has been achieved, numerous sanding processes are undertaken to achieve that great ‘silky smooth’ finish we all strive for.
Once in the UK, we then take the cue through our own various finishing processes. We blend our own oil and once the cue has been sufficiently treated we let it dry further until we are happy to release it on our website.
Understanding the requirements nowadays for cue extensions, we have ensured that a Spiroloc (small) joint has been fitted to all our range in case a mini butt or telescopic extensions are required now or into the future. Our Spioloc extensions are a high quality product and can be purchased separately on our website if required. The Spioloc (small) cue joint has been chosen for it’s quick action ability when in between shots – See Spiroloc Cue Extensions.
We are now fitting a ‘Grand Soft’ tip on our cues whilst in stock but can generally install to the customer’s requirements if we have their favoured tip in stock.
This snooker cue features a solid brass 9.5mm ferrule.

Top grade wood is getting harder and harder to source in the UK and much of the larger stocks have been on their way to Thailand for some time now. The Thai cue makers are rapidly becoming some of the best cue makers in the world so when trying to get as much cue as we can for our range we have gone here to find a cue maker who can supply us quality at competitive price.
