This 57” inch, three section 8 Ball Pool cue is crafted by Peradon in England from kiln dried, North American Ash and Rosewood.
Peradon Storm 8 Ball Pool Cue – Cue Shaft
The Cue Shaft Ash is carefully selected for strength and straightness before being lathe turned and machine spliced to the Rosewood butt timber.
The cue butt has a rosewood front splice, Sycamore and Blue veneers are then spliced to the butt section to further enhance the superb appearance.
The Storm three section 8 ball Pool Cue is then turned to its final tapered finish. Numerous sanding and finishing processes are undertaken to achieve that great ‘silky smooth’ finish.
Peradon Storm 8 Ball Pool Cue – Quick Action Joints
A ‘quick action’ joint is fitted to the center to make the cue more portable. A further ‘quick action’ dome joint is fitted 8″ from the butt of the cue. Fitting a dome joint enables the player to quickly remove the bottom 8″ of the cue to reveal a rounded end on the shaft. This set up makes it possible for the player to use the shaft of the cue for those awkward shots in restricted spaces. Because the brass dome still has good weight, this still provides a good cue balance.
Both cue joints are precision turned from a single piece of solid brass and are fitted to ensure precise alignment.
The butt is finished with a Peradon Storm name disc and leather butt pad.
This cue features a solid brass ferrule and 8 to 8½mm Elkmaster tip.
