Peradon Walter Lindrum Champion Snooker Cue. Walter Lindrum was one of the games finest players, he played with a Peradon cue. In his appreciation to the company, he gave Peradon the indefinite, sole rights to manufacture cues bearing his name. The original Walter Lindrum Champion cue is sought out and treasured by cue collectors around the world. Due to it’s popularity, the cue has now been reintroduced to the Peradon range with the added benefit of some modern day touches. One of the biggest improvements on the original cue is the quick action joint and butt end joint to bring it up to modern day expectations. This is a full size, 58 inch, 3/4 jointed cue specifically crafted by Peradon in England from the highest grade, kiln dried, North American Ash and exotic Ebony.

In making this wonderful cue, the ash is carefully selected for strength and straightness. Once selected, the finest, genuine Ebony butt timber is spliced to the cue by hand. The cue is shaped to produce the distinctive four round point pattern of a normal hand spliced cue.

To decorate the cue butt, a Bubinga front splice and Sycamore veneer is then hand spliced to the Ebony butt. In the cue making process, stress is reduced from the timbers and then cue is then shaped over a period of time until the final tapered shape is achieved. Once completed, numerous sanding and finishing processes are then undertaken to achieve that ‘silky smooth’ finish you expect from a cue of this class. In keeping with tradition, the cue shaft is then stamped with the cue weight to the nearest 1/2 oz.

To ensure joint problems are eliminated, the two sections of the ‘quick action’ joint are each precision turned from a single piece of solid brass. The joint is then precisely fitted 12″ from the butt end, this gives the shaft an overall length of 46 and a cue length of 58″.

The cue butt is then finished with a Peradon Walter Lindrum Champion name plate and ‘quick action’ butt end joint to accept the range of extensions available at Snooker Crazy.

This cue features a solid brass ferrule and 9 ½ to 10mm Elkmaster tip.
